| In 1930’s, Yew Wah and YewChungSchools were founded by Madame Tsang Chor-hang with the aspiration to “save the nation through education” and to “glorify China”. Madame Tsang Chor-hang was a relative of Dr. Sun Zhongshan.
This mission continues to this day with Mr. Paul Yip and Dr. Betty Chan, a well-recognized educator and the present Director of the Yew Chuang and Yew Wah Education Foundation. YewChungSchools are spreading all over the China, such as Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Qingdao and USA. (Welcome to link to www.ycef.com). Dr. Chen has taken the Yew Wah schools to a higher level and has established its name in major Chinese cities including: Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and Yantai by providing the quality education to both local and overseas students covering the education from Kindergarten to A-Level, extending education and on-line study. Over the past 70 years, the efforts of two generations have gained a proven track record of success and recognition worldwide.
Yew Wah education philosophy will affect the Global Village of 21 century. China will take a more and more important role in the world. Our desire is to guide our students to be the Global Citizens and leaders in 21 century with global thinking, comprehensive knowledge, high learning ability and community responsibility.
